President Abdel Fattah El Sisi announced that the government will give 80 million of the Tahya Masr Fund to support people with special needs. The decision coincides with a decision by the cabinet to issue the executive regulations of the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and ensure that all ministries adhere to the law. The parliament also approved a bill on issuing the Law of the National Council for Persons with Disabilities that aims at protecting the rights of disabled people and providing them with comprehensive care. Pray that the efforts taken to support people with special needs will be materialized. Pray that caretakers will strengthen and comfort the feeble and the marginalized (The Bible, Isaiah 35:3).

When police carried out a raid on a state-registered church, they confiscated three New Testaments, two Bibles, and a book of children’s Bible stories. Despite the pastor proving the books were bought legally and had passed state censorship, courts have ordered that the books stay confiscated and be given to the Religious Affairs Committee in Tashkent. Church members are outraged that this implies that a church cannot even legally buy Christian literature and then keep it in its own buildings. Ask God to bless these police officers and court officials that they may have softened hearts and turn to the Lord and repent (The Bible, Matthew 4:17).
