Two Nepali Christians, together with an Indian and US citizen were arrested and charged under the new anti-conversion laws. They were involved in training local pastors at a local church and had brought Bibles for the pastors. At the time of arrest, the police also confiscated a box of Bibles, a laptop, a USB stick and some cash. They were accused of trying to “lure conversions” to Christianity. Praise God that after a day long trial, the judge released all four.

Pray that Christians in this nation will not be bound by fear to these new laws, but have wisdom to boldly witness their faith (The Bible, Proverbs 2:11).

Pray for UAE - facebook page

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has started to pull its troops out of Yemen. The economic slowdown and the possibility of potential spillover of Yemeni tribesmen trained by UAE forces are reasons for their withdrawal from this conflict. The talks held by Saudi Arabia with the UAE to prevent their troop withdrawal failed. The UAE is also concerned about the threats from Iran.

Pray for God's wisdom to prevail over the UAE government leadership to prevent them from getting involved in wars of other nations in the future (The Bible, James 1:5).
