Three Christians felt one day that God directed them to go and visit a particular shop in a vast marketplace. Arriving at the shop, they declared to the owner that Jesus had sent them there. The owner turned white, then asked them to wait in his shop and not leave. Though fearful he had gone to the police, the Christians waited until the shop owner returned with 6 other men. They explained that for years they had met every Friday to pray asking God to send someone to tell them more about Jesus. The Christians shared the Gospel and the group of men all chose to follow Jesus. Praise God for the obedience and courage of these Christians. Pray for more divine appointments all over Iran (The Bible, Matthew 7:24).

More than 60 people died in violent clashes in northern Burkina Faso. Islamists who are seeking to gain control over the territory fuel the ethnic and inter-communal violence. Increasing lawlessness and violence is a gain for the Islamists who pit people against one another in order to gain militant influence. Pray for the government of Burkina Faso to have courage, strategy, and resources to actively regain control of its borderlands before the Islamists have full control like they do in neighboring Mali (The Bible, 1 Peter 3:14).
