Iran may be facing its biggest crisis in many decades. International backing of US sanctions has hit the economy hard. Business and trade is being affected badly. Iranians generally are no longer supportive of the leadership of Islamic clerics, and blame them for the ruin they see that has come to their country. There is no clear successor for the current supreme leader.

Pray that the general state of instability in this nation right now will be softening hearts to the love and salvation found in Jesus Christ (The Bible, Psalm 37:39).

Mike Riddering was one of the people killed in the attack that shook the capital city, Ouagadougou, in January 2016. Since that attack, religious violence has taken hold in this nation, with over 230 more attacks. Mike was a Christian missionary who had moved there with his wife in 2011. Since Mike’s death, his wife has continued their ministry and is now joined by Mike’s brother and his wife. Praise God for the faithfulness and determination of this family.

Pray that God will bless their ministry.
Praise God that the increased attacks in this nation is causing many to come to church. This is a wake-up call; pray that many will hear it (The Bible, John 4:23).
