Day 18

Yemen, Arabian Peninsula

At a time when Yemen is scrambling to respond to COVID-19 and ensure that hospitals can treat the patients, the country has entered the sixth year of a war that has all but decimated its healthcare system.

The multiparty war that has ravaged Yemen the past five years has not spared hospitals or health workers.

More than the violence and destruction, the new threats of the Coronavirus will complicate an already disastrous and entirely man-made humanitarian crisis.

Lord we proclaim that You are EL RACHUM, The God of compassion, who alone can bring an end to war and bloodshed and save us from the devastation (The Bible, Deuteronomy 4:31).

Vietnam, Southeast Asia

Dear Jesus, You are MY PORTION AND ALL I NEED. We speak this name over Vietnam today.

Jesus, we ask You to dismantle all spiritual strongholds in Vietnam that stand against the truth that Jesus is all that Vietnam needs.

As Vietnam struggles to hold its own in the face of the increasingly dominating and aggressive power of China in the South China Sea region, we bless Vietnam to recognize that Jesus alone is their portion.

May they humble themselves before Jesus so that He can lift this nation up (The Bible, Psalm 16:5).
