Day 24

Libya, North Africa

After years of endless conflict, the healthcare system has deteriorated to the point that Libya is one of the least prepared countries in the world, especially in terms of surveillance, monitoring and ability to detect coronavirus cases.

As renewed fighting for air supremacy with drone support is escalating in the country, we pray for the gutted healthcare system to improve.

As the outbreak of the coronavirus could be catastrophic for the internally displaced people and migrants in the war-torn country, we cry for Your intervention.

Lord, we declare that You are EL ROI, the God who sees the afflictions of Your people and preserves them alive (The Bible, Genesis 16:13).

Malaysia, Southeast Asia

In mid-April, the Malaysian health department announced they had only two more weeks’ supply of personal protective equipment for its hospitals.

As the COVID-19 pandemic has changed so many “normals” for the world, today we declare over Malaysia that God is the CONFIDENCE AND HOPE OF ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH.

We speak to Malaysia and say that Jesus is the only One in whom we can have hope and not be disappointed.

Thank you, Heavenly Father, that we can have confidence in You and You alone in the midst of this pandemic.

May this be a reality for many in Malaysia today (The Bible, Psalm 65:5).
