Day 27

Turkey, SE Europe and SW Asia

Since schools closed amid the COVID-19 pandemic, reports of child abuse have dramatically increased.

As parents spend more time with their children, many of the reports are of abuse the children are experiencing outside of the home, for example in schools.

And other reports are of child abuse taking place in the home now that children are around more. In both cases, we declare that although people often fail one another, Jesus is NEVER FAILING.

We speak to these children, that Jesus will never leave you and never fail you. We speak words of healing, comfort and rescue into the lives of children today (The Bible, Deuteronomy 31:8).

North Korea, East Asia

Though North Korea claims it has no confirmed cases of COVID-19, it closed its borders with China as soon as the first cases were discovered there.

Cross border trade has ceased, which is a huge economic blow for North Korea. Thousands were put into quarantine.

Schools were closed. Military food rations were cut. Face masks and personal protective equipment is being smuggled in, and a new hospital is being built quickly in the capital city.

Over this nation that is in a dire state, we declare that Jesus is the ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS. Jesus is the only hope for North Korea. We speak to this nation, “Come to Jesus” (The Bible, 1 John 2:2).
