Day 29
Nigeria, West Africa

More than 80 percent of Nigerians work in the informal work sector which is hardest hit by the extensive quarantine measure the government instituted to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The economic assistance the government said it would provide will only meet a fraction of the needs, and the most vulnerable people will struggle to survive.
We declare over Nigeria that our Heavenly Father is a GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL GOD. We speak out Your grace and mercy and compassion over this nation.
Provide miraculously and generously for those who most need it. May many call on the Name of the Lord at this time and be saved (The Bible, Nehemiah 9:17).

Maldives, South Asia

Maldives is reliant on tourism for its income. The COVID-19 pandemic means its economy will be very badly affected.
90 percent of resorts have sent their staff home with no pay. Despite tourism, the nation remains religiously closed and highly Muslim.
We speak over the Maldives today that God is HE WHO IS HOLY. We declare that God loves the Maldivian people and is jealous for their worship.
We declare that Islam must be shaken off the Maldives, in order that Christian communities be established and grow unhindered. May the Holy God be moving across the Maldives today (The Bible, Revelation 3:7).

Jordan, Middle East

Air raid sirens sounded across Jordan’s cities to mark the start of one of the most extensive lockdowns to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.
The government relies on significant international support to both aid refugees and keep its economy afloat.
The rapid rollout of strict containment measures has disrupted aid activities, threatened livelihoods and failed to take into account the needs of both refugees and vulnerable Jordanians.
Lord we proclaim that You are EL OLAM, The eternal God, and Your love and mercy are everlasting.
We pray that our people will understand Your grace and accept real life in Christ (The Bible, Isaiah 40:28).

Senegal, West Africa

Senegal is well known for its homeless children and youth who survive by begging during the day.
The COVID-19 pandemic has made their lives a misery, with less people around to beg from and the inability to sleep at night for fear of being arrested by police for disobeying the nightly curfew.
Some refugees outside of the capital city have received hundreds of new children. Into this misery we declare that Jesus is the LIGHT OF THE NATIONS.
He is light in the midst of the darkness. We speak over these children and young adults, the love of Jesus and the hope and purpose in life that is found in Him. We speak protection over them (The Bible, Isaiah 42:6).
